From M6, coming from south of the Lakes
Leave at junction 36, following signs for A590 Kendal
Follow this for approx 3 miles and at the roundabout, go straight onto the A591, following directions to Windermere. Follow this all of the way to Windermere and go to our directions for coming into Windermere.

From M6, coming from North of the Lakes
Leave the M6 at junction 37 and take the A684 signposted to Kendall
After approx 6 miles, take the A6, still signposted towards Kendall
After approx half a mile, take the A5284 signposted to Windermere
After a mile and a half, at the roundabout, take the A590/A591 towards Windermere and follow this all the way to Windermere and go to our directions for coming into Windermere.

From East, on the A65
Follow the A65, as you cross over the M6, take the A590, signposted towards Kendal
Follow this for approx 3 miles and at the roundabout, go straight onto the A591, following directions to Windermere. Follow this all of the way to Windermere and go to our directions for coming into Windermere.

Coming into Windermere
Coming into Windermere, turn left onto the High street (A5074). Bear left onto Victoria Road, then Crescent Road (this is a matter of a few yards)
Proceed along Crescent Road and turn left into Birch Street. The Motor World shop is on the corner (this is a very short distance)
Turn left into the alley after the Computer Shop, into Derby Terrace. Whilst this alley looks narrow, a Land Rover and a Transit Van can fit through here.
Lakestone Cottage is on your left (there is a sign saying Lakestone Cottage, and it is number 2). There is no sign saying Derby Terrace.
